Case Study: Mary Potter Hospice May Appeal
We had the pleasure of helping Mary Potter Hospice raise awareness for their mahi, launch their annual fundraising appeal, and then re-engage with their audience afterwards.
We worked with the fantastic Mary Potter team to plan and deliver a set of both long and short-form videos, along with photography, for their website, social media, and mailouts.

A longer ‘key video’ is perfect to give both existing and potential donors a better understanding of what Mary Potter Hospice does, and why they should be part of it.

To promote the May Appeal, and raise awareness about the upcoming street collection, we took the hero photos.
These were used on digital billboards, and social media advertising.
Short Form Videos for Social Media
To best reach and engage with audiences on social media, we edited existing footage with new animation to deliver a set of short videos.
These videos are optimised for social media, and were used for normal posts as well as advertising.
Street Appeal 2023 Photography
On the day of the collection, we took photos of volunteers to both acknowledge their contribution and bank photos to promote the event next year.
These were used on social media, and can be used on the website and for future campaigns.
Stories behind the Street Appeal volunteers
While taking photos, we also asked volunteers to share ‘The story behind their bucket’ – what compelled them to support the hospice. People gave some really heartwarming answers, and we chose a simple and candid filming style to fit the genuine nature of the answers.
